Privacy Policy
Plain-English summary
- RatedPaid is free and for carriers only. You need an active MC or USDOT number.
- Reports and posts must be facts about real loads. Carrier content is the carrier's own account, not RatedPaid's statement.
- You give RatedPaid a permanent, broad license to the reports, posts and payment data you submit. We can publish it, combine it into statistics, and license that data commercially.
- We may license or sell aggregated, de-identified data (for example, broker payment trends) to third parties such as factoring companies and credit or data providers.
- We don't sell your identity or contact details, and we don't share your uploaded invoices or rate confirmations outside RatedPaid unless the law requires it.
- If RatedPaid is merged, acquired, financed or sells its assets, accounts and data may transfer to the new owner under these terms.

What we collect
- Account details: email, password (stored hashed), carrier MC/USDOT and company name, and when you agreed to the terms.
- Verification data: the email and phone FMCSA has on file for your carrier, used only to check your signup.
- Your Content: reports, payment details, unpaid-charge details, uploaded documents, community posts, monitored brokers and notification settings.
- Basic technical data: IP address, sign-in sessions and security logs. We count broker searches as totals only.
How we use it
- To run your account, verify carriers, moderate content and send account and monitor emails you can turn off.
- To publish carrier reports and statistics on broker pages. Your email is never shown; you appear by company name or a handle you pick.
- To create aggregated or de-identified data and statistics, which we may license or sell to third parties such as factoring companies and credit or data providers.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your identity or contact information.
- We don't share uploaded invoices or rate confirmations outside RatedPaid, except with service providers that help us run the site, or when required by law or legal process.
- We don't share your account with brokers.
Business transfers
If RatedPaid is merged, acquired, financed or sells assets, accounts and data may transfer to the new owner, who must keep honoring this policy for data collected under it.
Your choices
You can edit or withdraw your reports, unmonitor brokers, turn off monitor emails from your account or any email's unsubscribe link, and ask us to close your account. The content license in our Terms continues for data already aggregated.
